RISK MANAGEMENT = HOW TO TRADE FOREVER ♾️ You don't blow accounts because your strategy is bad. You blow because your risk is bad. What is Risk Management? How can we manage our risk in the market to trade FOREVER? → Not fullporting one trade → Understanding your strategy, win rate & RR → Protecting capital > Chasing profit Know Your Risk Tolerance: Understanding your own risk tolerance. Going to be different than everyone else. Some can handle 2%, some 0.5% — find what lets you sleep at night. If 1% loss makes you tilt, you're risking too much. Why We Need It: Live to Trade Another Day Do you want to get set back to level 0 in your game? Think of your trading account as levels and XP going up. Fullport = Game over = Back to level 0 = All XP lost Risk management = Save game It Helps Us Play The Game → It helps us play the game → It is necessary for us to get good at the game → No risk management = No game time You can't get good if you're dead. MY RISK RULES (Steal this): 1% max per trade 1:2 minimum RR Max 2 losses per day → Then stop trading Never fullport Journal every loss with reason Professional traders don't focus on how much they can MAKE. They focus on how much they can LOSE and still stay in the game. Save this for your next losing streak 🔖 Comment "RISK" — I'll send my position size calculator Follow @forex_.vault for real trader mindset #riskmanagement #tradingpsychology #forexrisk #moneymanagement #forexvault tradermindset
