fun iced bevys compilation because i will drink them in any weather: 📍naisnow: tried the (not really new anymore) mango coconut drink in the summer: a slightly savory, mostly sweet, mango cream top over coconut water. not usually a fan of cream tops but the light creaminess with of this one with that fruity flavor paired really well with the refreshing coconut water. this also tasted like fresh coconut water which was amazing. 📍edith’s: had to get the iconic coffee tahini slushie and this lived up to the hype (i fear it was the only item we ordered that did). the bitterness of the coffee combines perfectly with the nuttiness of the butter, and in frozen form the bits retain their individual flavors more than if you melted the nut butter into a coffee, so that provided a unique taste and mouthfeel that i thoroughly enjoyed. bonus points for making it with oat milk 📍chahalo: got the rock oolong pure tea because fantuan $2 boba deal. this and the jasmine lemon green tea are 99 cents in the app if you pick it up, post fees it’s closer to $2. the oolong was a bit too sweet for me but i liked the jasmine. it was fragrant, still a little bit sweet but better with the lemon, and for $2 i will not complain 📍luckin coffee: luckin x duolingo collab cups were so cute (oops this is also a month late). this mango cloud frappe was refreshing, with creamy coconut and sweet mango in icy form. the best revelation here was probably that the ktown luckin is a super nice study environment. i’d come back
