45 Minute Carnitas 🔥 Big Flavor, less time. Welcome to my pressure cooker series where we make delicious food in under an hour! 🙌 Being a twin dad with kids in Sports means sometimes we need a quick dinner! 📝 Carnitas Recipe ⬇️ 🛒 Ingredients - 1 pork shoulder 🐷 - 1 onion 🧅 - 1 clove of garlic 🧄 - 3 bay leaves 🍃 - 1 teaspoon Mexican Oregano 🌿 - 1 bottle @cocacola 🥤 - 1 Orange cut in half 🍊 - 1 Lime cut in half 🍋‍🟩 - 4 cups water - @spanglishasadero_official Asada Seasoning! 😋 - Olive oil. I used @getgraza - Pressure cooker. I used my @ninjakitchen ✅ STEPS 1. Slice your pork into 2” cubes and season heavily with @spanglishasadero_official Asada Seasoning! 2. Set your pressure cooker to sauté, add 2 tablespoons olive oil, and sear your pork. Do this in batches so you Don’t crowd the pan too much. 3. Once the meat is seared, add it all to the pressure cooker along with your chopped onion, garlic, bay leaves, and oregano! 4. Squeeze in your Orange, Lime, and go ahead and toss in your Coke too! 5. Top Off the rest with water. You want to add enough so that it just covers the meat. 6. Tighten the lid and set your pressure cooker to 30 minutes! 7. Once the 30 minutes is up, release the steam and remove the pork from the pot and into a pan. 8. Shred the pork to a consistency of your liking! 9. Last, set the pork on a baking tray and broil in the oven to get a nice flavorful crisp. Or you can do what I did and throw it in a frying pan on Med-High Heat to crisp up that pork a little! 📝 Serve on a corn tortilla with diced onion and cilantro! Add your favorite salsa and you got an amazing Carnitas Taco! 🌮 🚨 Pro Tip. Once the meat is shredded, add some more @spanglishasadero_official Seasoning! I added some Golden garlic and a Touch more of the Asada Seasoning! Inspo for this cook from my dude @thatsavagekitchen 🙌 You can find Spanglish Asadero @walmart & @samsclub 🔪 Knife - @montanaknifecompany #pressurecooker #series #carnitas #recipe #quickdinnerideas
