This might be controversial but the whole “you’re eating for two” thing while pregnant isn’t really true. 😆🤰 In the first trimester, I tried to eat around maintenance. Some days that happened… and some days it absolutely did not. 🤷‍♀️ And for the 2nd & 3rd, I’ll aim for this (it will vary from person to person): ✨ 2nd trimester: +250 calories/day ✨ 3rd trimester: +350 calories/day TRUST ME, I do not eat perfect. I have plenty of days where I throw in the towel and eat whatever the heck I’m craving. 🙃 Pregnancy is hard enough as it is, so I try not to let food or calories consume my life. I focus on getting enough protein, staying active and trying to make the healthier choices. It’s all about balance and giving yourself some grace. 🫶 #PregnancyFitness #PregnancyNutrition #PrenatalFitness #PregnantAndActive #HealthyPregnancy
