For Papa Fraser. 🤍 There’s something about places like this that always makes me slow down. The old brick buildings, a general store on Main Street, a Coca-Cola sign painted on the wall—the kind of small-town Southern charm that feels like it carries a hundred years of stories with it. Maybe that’s part of why I’ve always loved the South so much. There’s history here. There’s community. There’s a sense of home. And lately, “home” has taken on an entirely new meaning for me. I’m currently working toward earning my North Carolina real estate license, and as I get closer to taking my exam, I can’t help but think about my late father, Papa Fraser, and how much of his influence I still carry with me. Oh how he loved a good bottled @cocacola He inspired me to keep going, find my own groove, trust myself, and pursue the things that genuinely excite me. I wish he were here to see this chapter unfold, but I also know there’s a little bit of him woven into the reason I’m going after it in the first place. Real estate feels like more than houses to me. It’s people, land, neighborhoods, history, new beginnings—and helping someone find a place that becomes part of their story. So, on my way to take this exam, I’m carrying a little extra motivation with me. Here’s to Papa Fraser, finding my groove, and seeing where this next Southern chapter takes me. 🤍🏡 #NorthCarolinaRealEstate #RealEstateJourney #NorthCarolina #SouthernLiving #heyyshonna
