What if Coca-Cola had a little Florentine secret? 👀🥤 In the ancient pharmacy of San Marco in Florence, an old 19th-century recipe was recently rediscovered. It was for a “restorative wine elixir.” And the ingredients? 🌿 **Coca leaves** 🥜 **Kola nut** 🍷 **Wine** Sound familiar? A few decades later, across the Atlantic, John Pemberton created his *French Wine Coca* — before Coca-Cola became the drink we know today. Coincidence? Maybe. 👀 There’s no proof that Pemberton ever knew about the Florentine recipe. But come on… COCA + KOLA, in Florence, before Coca-Cola? We’ll let you decide. 😉 And this is exactly the kind of story we love at Florence Syndrome: the weird, unexpected side of Florence that you won’t find in the usual guidebooks. Would you have guessed this?
