Australian MP Helen Haines was taken to hospital with "critical injuries" after being hit by a car in what Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called "a deliberate act". Haines was near her regional office in Wangaratta, Victoria, when she was struck by the 4x4 vehicle. Police say they are investigating whether the incident was "intentional". A 43-year-old man, from nearby Tarrawingee, was arrested at the scene by a passer-by. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio to find out more the story. #HelenHaines #Australia #BBCNews
