Four people have died in Japan after Typhoon Dujuan battered Tokyo and surrounding areas with torrential rain and destructive winds. At the height of the storm on Monday, authorities warned of an "imminent threat to life" and urged 1.9 million people to move to shelters. The fatalities occurred as a result of landslides in the Kanagawa and Chiba prefectures. A further six have been reported missing, public broadcaster NHK reported. More than 50,000 people also experienced power cuts and hundreds of flights were suspended.
