The number of people training to become professional wrestlers in Northern Ireland has “grown exponentially” in recent years. Five years ago, there were only around 30 people involved in training, today it’s believed to be more than 150. At a gym in Larne, in County Antrim, many new wrestlers are taught how to clothes-line and power bomb like WWE superstars.
