Rescue efforts are ongoing in Nepal as teams work to get further into a tunnel at a hydroelectric site in a bid to rescue more survivors. So far, two people have been rescued. Both men have injuries on their hands and legs, and have been airlifted to hospital in the country’s capital Kathmandu. It comes more than a week after flash flooding hit the Nepal-Tibet border, killing more than 1,300 people. At least 39 others are thought to be trapped in the same tunnel and more than 100 are still missing across a network of tunnels at hydropower sites along the Trishuli River. The body of a third person was also found at the tunnel. Tap the link in @BBCNews’s bio to read more about the engineering techniques being used in the complex rescue.
