Kawaii core, but on a canvas 🎨💫 Illustrator @mada.exe (Mada) combines her background in animation and fashion with her passion for digital art and oil painting to make her nostalgic, colorful art. “I love looking at photo books and fashion magazines, really any type of printed media. And I really enjoy portraits and characters. But lately I’ve been trying to be present and take my own reference photographs, which has been really refreshing.” Mada aspires for her art to wrap people up in something familiar: “I hope people feel something comforting when looking at my work — but also exciting, the same way I used to love watching cartoons on Saturday morning.
