@flammedenotredame (Althéa) is bringing characters to life both on and off the canvas 🖌️✨ Meet Imani and Steve — the first two characters in an animated universe Althéa’s been making from scratch. This piece captures a moment from their lives as they start to come alive. “At first, these characters existed in very simple, plain backgrounds. Over time, I’ve been building a world that truly belongs to them and bringing them to life little by little.” Inspired by the animated films she grew up loving, Althéa creates with an imaginative mindset and hopes her work reminds people that it’s OK to feel everything: “Life is made up of many different emotions, and they all have equal value.
