UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said he will put forward plans for a new national care service in England that “works on NHS principles" in the next general election. He told the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg that the system would be free at the point of use and paid for by everyone. The Prime Minister did not detail how it would be funded, but said he will share more details in his Labour conference speech on Tuesday.
