@bbcnews Celebrations in Los Angeles after the Lakers win their first National Basketball Association title in a decade. Fans are pictured in front of a giant mural of Lakers icon Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who were tragically killed in a helicopter crash in January alongside seven others. Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's wife and Gianna's mother, congratulated the team on their win, saying she wished "Kobe and Gianna were here to see this". Forward Anthony Davis said, "Kobe, I know he's looking down on us super proud. We miss him, and this is definitely for him." The team beat the Miami Heat to seal a 4-2 series victory and tie with the Boston Celtics for the most NBA championships on 17.
