Armenia, flagrantly violating four resolutions of the UN Security Council continues occupation of Azerbaijani international recognized territories for almost 30 years. All these 30 years Armenia’s actions were directed at derailing negotiations process aimed at peaceful resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The latest flare-up in the conflict zone started with Armenia’s shelling of Azerbaijani civilians at the frontline on September 27, 2020. On October 9, 2020, the foreign ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia held a trilateral meeting in Moscow, Russia. As a result of 10 hours of negotiations, it was decided to sign a humanitarian ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia. According to the agreement, the ceasefire was to come into force on October 10 at 12:00. However, the Armenian side ignored this and fired from heavy artillery at Terter, Aghdam, Ganja, Mingachevir and border regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Armenian side threatens to strike at the Mingachevir reservoir, knowing how important it is for Azerbaijan and will cause enormous damage to civilians as a result of its collapse. On October 11, 2020, the Armenian army, violating a humanitarian ceasefire, fired rockets at Ganja, Azerbaijan's second largest city. The rockets hit residential buildings, completely destroying three buildings and leaving residents in ruins. As a result, 9 civilians ti, including children, were killed till now and about 40 were injured. We hope that taking into account all this you will not close your eyes to the policy of aggression of Armenia and will support Azerbaijan, which is fighting against occupation and military aggression. #stoparmenianaggression #stoparmenianoccupation #stoparmenianterrorism
